The Unknown

Usually, I have very little in my daily routine that surprises me. I am a stay at home Mom so I do virtually the same things everyday. Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge this, I love being able to stay at home with my kids. We go to preschool, run errands, go to the gym where I play racquetball for 2 hours to work out any stress I might have, have lunch, naptime (Mommy's sanity recovery time), dishes, laundry, dinner, bedtime.
Tomorrow however is the unknown. I am scheduled for a "minor procedure" at the hospital in the Surgery Center. I know doctors use the words "minor procedure" to make patients feel less anxious, nevertheless I am a wreck of nerves as I await the morning. Thankfully, I have a husband who will be holding my hand and tonight when he comes home, he will use the power of the Priesthood and give me a blessing. And I know that will calm my Spirit and I will be able to sleep tonight so my body can prepare for the morning.
I'm hoping it will be worth it if we can get some answers. I'll be back this weekend to update on the unknown.
